Spring 2024 Enrichment - REGISTRATION OPEN NOW!

The Extended Learning Program is excited to host a variety of fun enrichment options this Spring, all tailored to your survey responses! We're confident there's something in the mix that every student will enjoy. These enrichment activities aren't exclusive to just our Extended Learning Program students; we're opening the doors to all K-5 students across the district. Please note, students not currently in the ELP will need to be dropped off by their guardians right in time for the start of their enrichment

Drama Out of the Box

Calling all young stars in grades K-5! Dive into the world of drama, improv, and team building with our exciting enrichment program. Perfect for students of any level, whether they're seasoned performers or stepping onto the stage for the first time. Join us for a playful experience where creativity takes center stage, and teamwork steals the spotlight. Unleash your imagination, make new friends, and let the dramatic fun begin!

Cost: $85.00

Center: Mondays, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20

FSS: Thursdays, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 5/30

MRE: Tuesdays, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21

Snapology

In this game-focused robotics program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while playing some really awesome games with and against their classmates! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice.

Cost: $125.00/student

Center: Tuesdays, 3/12, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/23, 4/30 (no session over April Vacation)

FSS: Wednesday, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/20, 5/29, 6/5

Play-Well TEKnologies

Level up your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects. Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that even returning students get a new experiences, so join us to design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas!

Cost: $125.00

Center: Fridays, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 5/31

FSS: Tuesdays, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28

Previous Enrichment Offerings

Buildwave

This Buildwave series offers 6-sessions that build on one another in complexity and challenge. Over the course of 6 sessions students create with over 50 different building materials, including Lego®, PlusPlus®, and custom-made Buildwave materials. Each session of the program is a new “level” of the Buildwave game, with an audiovisual setup featuring animations and music that guide students through the different building waves. Soccer Workshop

Get ready to kick it up a notch with our thrilling 1-hour soccer coaching session! Whether you're looking to enhance your existing skills or embark on a brand-new soccer journey, this is the perfect opportunity. Led by the dynamic Coach Nick, whose wealth of experience knows no bounds, this session is tailored for students at any skill level.

Art-Ventures

Art-ventures is a multi-week program that offers themed sessions to help students explore different art mediums. Whether it be through painting, tie-dying, sculpting, or drawing, students will have a chance to learn and create!

Mad Science

Mad Science is a multi-week enrichment for students ages 5-12. Well-trained instructors offer safe and engaging science activities for students over the course of their themed sessions. Plus, students have access to fun science take-home projects!

MVP Sports

MVP Sports looks a little different each time it's offered! We look to our students and their interests to figure out exactly what sports and team-based activities are the right fit!

Drama Out of the Box

Test out or improve your improv skills with this fun multi-week acting and improv class. Students will play fun improv games, test out their acting abilities, and in the past have even written and performed their own play!

Chess Wizards

Chess Wizards is great for chess players of all ages and levels. Learn about the game while you play face-to-face with your classmates!

Fun World Language

Learn a new language with your friends at Extended Learning! Instructors from Fun World Language teach students the basics with the use of fun worksheets, interactive games, and a chance to practice speaking a new language with classmates!

Play-Well LEGO TEKnologies

Students learn new building strategies in this multi-week course that offers structured and unstructured building time. Hands-on LEGO challenges give students an opportunity to problem solve in solo and group settings, and keep them engaged from beginnign to end!

Marcus Lewis Tennis Lessons

Students (beginner to intermediate) will work with skilled instructors over the course of this 5-6 week program, as they sharpen their tennis skills with new drills and the opportunity to play against their peers.
