The Student Services department serves all children in the district, including general education students, students with disabilities, and students at risk.

The Nashoba Regional School District is committed to providing a full continuum of programs and services to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities. In accordance with the student’s Individualized Education Plan or Section 504 Accommodation Plan, programs and related services are provided by certified special education teachers, speech/language therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, school counselors, school psychologists, school adjustment counselors, and other specialists.

Special Education services are available for students with disabilities between the ages of 3 and 21, or until they earn their high school diploma.  For further information about Nashoba Regional School District policies and procedures, you can find it under the Student Services tab called “Special Education, What’s the process?”

We are dedicated to working with families to support our students with disabilities in accessing education in the least restrictive environment within the Nashoba Regional School District. In the event students require a specialized program out of our district we are committed to identifying a Chapter 766-approved school through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Our goal is to provide all of our students with equal access to education. We welcome your feedback, as we strive to continually improve our programs and services to meet the diverse and unique needs of each of our students.
