Nashoba Regional School District

Throughout the next goal cycle (September 2024 through June 2026), the Nashoba Regional School Committee will:

Increase accessibility to, and visibility of the development of the district budget and budget book.

Review and revise policies to ensure that they are up-to-date in terms of their alignment with Massachusetts General Law and Department of Education goals and standards. Furthermore, we will make sure policies are representative of the Nashoba communities and our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Engage in regular communication with our communities and constituents by designing a structure to facilitate consistent communication with the Nashoba High School Student Council in accordance with policy JIB, create opportunities for improving access to meeting materials and archived information from School Committee meetings and creating a system to revisit and revise the School Committee Manual when necessary.

Engage in the Superintendent Evaluation process so that there is full participation from the committee in the mid-cycle and summative evaluation.

 Arrange for the annual financial audit of NRSD financial records in compliance with the NRSD regional agreement.

 Regularly interface with our DEARJ Advisory to ensure our actions as a School Committee remain aligned to our stated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

Participate in a bi-annual assessment of our progress toward meeting our goals.
