In the Marine Science class, students got creative by making 3D models of tiny ocean creatures called zooplankton and phytoplankton. They had a fun competition to see whose model could float down through water the slowest, just like these creatures do in the ocean.
Forensics students were treated to an interesting presentation by a member of the Massachusetts State Detective Unit, who shared insights into the daily workings of a forensics detective.
Students in the Physics with Engineering class took on the challenge of building their own motors. It was all about trying, failing, and trying again until they got it right. Their hard work paid off when their motors finally worked the way they wanted.
